Since 2012, Nino Scalamandre has served as a director at GCF, a single-family investment office that invests in PE and public companies. In this capacity, he has worked closely with portfolio company management to structure investments that have achieved outsized risk adjusted returns. Previously, he was the Managing Director of a Bear Stearns subsidiary focusing on derivatives investments. He sat on both the firm’s Risk and Compensation Committees, and launched their electronic trading division, the first in the US. Before that, he operated various partnerships that had memberships on New York based stock and commodity exchanges, starting in 1985.
